I don't even mind the extra weight in my edc pouch. This will save you from doing stupid things with your folder because it was the quickest tool to hand. Now there's something that can ride right next to your folder (whether in pocket or in pouch) that's tough enough to handle what would ruin your knife. Any doubts I had were put to rest as soon as I opened the box.
